In Earth-774, Bruce Banner retained his intellect when he turned into the Hulk, and only turned at night. As a result, he was brought in to help Reed solve Ben's disfigurement as the Thing. Together, they were successful, and the Fantastic Four broke up as a result. After a time, Reed and Sue became lonely living in the Baxter Building by themselves, and invited Bruce and Betty Banner to come live with them so Bruce and Reed could continue working together. Sue and Betty enjoyed going shopping together as well. Eventually, Charles Xavier heard about their scientific team up, and came to join in the fun. As a trio, the three scientists created a more powerful version of Cerebro called the Psychotron, which was able to merge three beings' minds and bodies into one powerful being. They reluctantly used this machine to defend the Earth against Galactus, and were successful, with the exception of losing all their collective powers, and inadvertently transforming Ben into a more mindless version of the Thing than he'd ever been before. (Much like The Hulk of Earth-616). Powers & Abilities: Related Articles:
