Synopsis for "...And the Juggernaut will get you..if you don't watch out!"

At the beginning of this issue, Beast is on a Halloween date with his old girlfriend, Vera. He is looking for a car to hitch a ride with, as his car is broken down on the road. He spots a car full of hippies and runs back to grab Vera. They hitch a ride with them. As the car leaves, Juggernaut falls from a portal behind them but is sucked back in within moments.

Apparently Vera needed to see Hank to get him to take her to Canada for some sort of mutant research. They go to a Halloween party, but the fun is short-lived as the Juggernaut falls from another portal behind Hank. Juggernaut knows that one of his enemies is here, but again is sucked back up before he can do any real damage.

Hank decides to split for awhile and leaves Vera in fear that Juggernaut won't be far behind. He sheds his mask and gloves and waits for Juggernaut to appear again. Eventually he does. They fight for awhile and Beast ends up trapped in a house with Juggernaut coming up the stairs. In a last ditch effort, Beast puts the mask on and seemingly "mutates" in front of Juggernaut. Juggernaut hesitates and leaves enough time for Beast to remove his helmet, taking away his powers. He runs down the stairs and Beast follows him outside. As the hour strikes midnight, Juggernaut ages many years in a short time. He is eventually sucked back into a portal "to die".
