Synopsis for "untitled"

The X-Men attend the funeral of Professor X. Amos Duncan shows up and wants to chat. They go back to the mansion and find Foggy Nelson, there to read the will. The will is read, and then the X-Men turn their attention to Amos. Meanwhile, the Juggernaut is freed from his ruby prison by a device built by professor X. He trashes the machine that summoned him, and the X-men, alerted by the trembling, rush downstairs to see what's happening. Juggernaut wants Professor X, and won't believe the X-Men when they say he's dead. There's a huge fight, and Juggernaut thrashes the X-men, but then we discover the device only brought Juggernaut back briefly as he is returned to the gem-world. Finally Amos Duncan gets to say his piece, and relates that the FBI is ordering them to split up to better fight crime by being in more places. Saddened by having to disperse, they pack and leave.

Synopsis for "And Then There Were Two"

The final chapter of Iceman's origin story. Iceman and Cyclops get caught by a bunch of rednecks, who are looking to string them up. The sheriff tries to stop the rednecks and gets overruled. Shortly before being hanged Prof X telepathically tells them to escape, and they do so with their last ounce of mutant energy. They then take off towards Bobby's house where Professor X is going to meet them. Professor X wipes the mob's memories and Iceman joins the school.

Notes

  • Gary Friedrich apparently forgot that the name of FBI agent Duncan was Fred - "Amos" Duncan appears to be the same character.
